Hey there, it's Brendan
I've had the opportunity to build a career that is a bit of everything and not very linear. It has been filled with a lot of change, uncertainty and possibility.

With everything that I have done, I believe that it is becoming increasingly important to lean on the learnings and experiences as the reality of how we work are becoming more and more nebulous. Not everything fits neatly into a box anymore!

My superpower lies in unpicking these complex problems and re-imagining a way forward that works for the organisation and its people.
The top 5 principles that I take with me everywhere are:

-
Sustainability - design and develop with the future in mind. Effort is a resource that shouldn't be wasted!
-
Learning - only by listening and understanding others can things really work.
-
Develop others - you can build sustainable practices by coaching others to think and not just do. It's good for them and good for the organisation.
-
Simplicity - do what works, for where we are now and for what is needed.
-
Perspective - look at things from different angles, think about the whole 360 degrees, ask yourself "what about….?" even the oddities can influence your thinking.
